About Us

MAINSTAGE THEATRE COMPANY is a not-for profit organization dedicated to developing young actors to the professional level.

Our exciting program gives young artists, ages 11 to 21, the opportunity to create magic in a theatre environment. They are supported by a team of professional artists, musicians, and choreographers under the direction of Artistic Director, Alain Richer.

An enriched rehearsal session culminates in a final semi-professional musical theatre production with an extended run of shows. Past performances include West Side Story (2008), Grease (2008), Thoroughly Modern Millie (2009), Les Miserables (2009), Fame (2010), The Drowsy Chaperone (2010), Urinetown: The Musical (2011), Singin’ in the Rain (2011), Cabaret (2012), Fiddler on the Roof (2012), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (2013), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2013), Legally Blonde: The Musical (2014), Hairspray (2015), Pippin (2015), Footloose (2016), Rent (2016), and Anything Goes (2017).

Our intensive actor-training program unlocks unique, creative talents and provides the tools aspiring actors need to make the most of their potential.
